The Cannonball 8000 - London to Rome, starts on the 16th of September and runs over the next 48 hours of the 17th and 18th of September 2005. Of course the Cannonball 8000 is not a race. The event captures the true spirit of the Cannonball, with entrants from all different backgrounds including original Cannonballers from the runs across the states in the 70's, Oil riggers, Vets and just a cool bunch of people who have a great spirit of adventure.

The new website uses Flash extensively capturing the fast and furious atmosphere of the Cannonball event.
